He Laid Bleeding And Circling Death In The Wet Drain He Fell Into Far Below

Yes, we are a dog page– but sometimes a cat story hits us right in the heart and we feel obligated to share it. This is one of those times. This tragic little kitten was found helpless in a drain. He couldn’t move, so weak from his ailing body. He bled from his face and couldn’t stand on his own.

The little cat would surely have succumbed to his injuries if Animal Aid didn’t step in. They realized that the kitten was feral but because he was in such bad shape, he lay there and allowed the rescuers to pick him up. Normally, a feral cat would have run away but this baby couldn’t.

He was very sick with an infection. And because he was feral and unable to get medical care, he got worse quickly. He stopped nursing and then got very weak. His failing body gave out and he fell into the drain below. Poor baby!

The kitten’s main injury was to his nose. Once back at the center, in the care of the medical team, he was treated for pain and then observed for any reaction. The next step was to get him stronger!

He was scared and so unused to human touch that feeding him was challenging, but he finally gave in. He was certainly hungry! He loved eating real food!

Had he stayed in that drain any longer, he wouldn’t have survived but now he’s officially one of Animal Aid’s miracles. Meet the adorable kitten now named ‘Fiesty!’ (Once you see him in the video below, you’ll understand how he earned that name!)

Fiesty loves everyone he meets, human and feline! He’s so playful and happy now. Isn’t it so heartwarming to see him doing so well? Yea, we think so too!

Fiesty is no longer considered feral and loves to be held and pet. The best part: He’s going up for adoption and lots of families can’t wait to offer up their homes. He’s such a little sweetheart!

Isn’t Animal Aid amazing? Fiesty wouldn’t be here today if they hadn’t stepped in. Watch Fiesty’s story below and don’t forget that rescue groups like Animal Aid rely on donations to operate. So please, share Fiesty’s story and get the word out!
